Ott Tänak topped the timesheets on shakedown this morning. The Estonian was 0.7 seconds faster than his Hyundai team-mate Thierry Neuville.
It was an eventful shakedown with many small offs and snowbank digging. Janne Tuohino got stuck on his first run. In the second run, Neuville got stuck as well. Elfyn Evans also had a small off, at the same corner where Neuville got stuck, but the Welshman managed to continue without many issues. Neuville needed the help of a tow truck to get out of the snowbank (image above).
Katsuta P3, Breen P4
Takamoto Katsuta was P3 in the 5.69 kilometre stage, 4.4 seconds slower than Tänak. Craig Breen was fourth, just one tenth behind Katsuta.
