Evans, Sordo forced to retire early in WRC Safari Rally Kenya

Elfyn Evans and Dani Sordo have retired from the first full day of running at the Safari Rally Kenya.

Evans clipped a rock near the end of the stage and had to park his Toyota Yaris WRC to the side of the road with suspension damage. The front right wheel was hanging off the car. He tried to fix the issues on the stage but didn’t managed to continue.

Dani Sordo had a high speed off in a narrow section. The Spaniard is forced to retire as a result of his off. Crew is OK.
