Spain will host the final round of the 2022 ERC (European Rally Championship).
The ERC and WRC ‘will cross paths’ in Spain as RallyRACC Catalunya has been added to the 2022 ERC calendar as the final round of the championship.
The event setup will differ for the ERC and WRC. Although the ERC and WRC events will take place on the same weekend, they will run as separate events, with the ERC event running on Friday and Saturday.
On Thursday, the ERC-registered drivers will do the Qualifying stage before the rally starts on Friday. A total of 14 stages (240.6 km) are scheduled for the ERC crews. The 24.4 km long El Montmell concludes the ERC event on Saturday afternoon.
ERC’s RallyRACC Catalunya-Costa Daurada takes place from 20 – 22 October.
